Barbara Phillips Obituary

Phillips, Barbara Taylor died September 18, 2007, at home after a ten year battle with cancer. A native of Danville, IL she graduated from the University of Illinois. She leaves her husband, Richard; sons, John (Jo Hormuth), Scott (Ellen); and daughter, Ann (Tony Sepanski); grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jessica; and sister, Nancy. Barbara was a resident of Northbrook since 1953. An avid competitor, she curled at Chicago Curling Club and played golf in several leagues and at Skokie Country Club. She also enjoyed travel to Europe, Africa and tropical islands. A reception to celebrate her life will be held September 29th, 2 p.m., at Skokie Country Club, 500 Washington St., Glencoe, IL. Memorials may be made to ENH Hospice, 4901 Searle Parkway, Suite 130 Skokie, IL 60077 or the American Cancer Society, 820 Davis St., Suite 340, Evanston, IL 60201-4446. Arrangements by: N. H.
