To the Petkus family:
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. Although your beloved Barbara was with you for only 7 decades plus, one grew to love and appreciate her and that sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Everyone will have some fond memories of good times together, forever.
As a sister you learned quickly that to know her was to love her. She will be missed.

I regret that distance prevents me from expressing my sympathies to you face-to-face. Nonetheless, I do express them sincerely and passionately.

My prayer for you is that you will grieve knowing that God walks with you through this valley of the shadow of death. For, it is in times like these that God draws especially near to his people. With God you will come out the other side of the valley as healthy people, ready to live and serve with grateful appreciation for having been touched by Barbara's life.

In the love of Christ, may God watch over and protect you always,
