Dearest Barb,
It´s been 15 years since we lost you, but my memories of you are just as fresh & crisp as ever. You were beautiful & vivacious and always ready to laugh & enjoy those around you. You were a great big sister. I think of you often, & remember your love for my boys, Conor & Mike. Mike is now there with you. Please wrap your arms around him as you both get reacquainted. Love &miss you.

To my sister, Barbara..we will never be the same again without you..we miss you everyday! I miss you calling, inviting Mom and I and whomever over for dinner, having wine on the deck, talking, laughing..you always laughed at my silly jokes or sayings! When Mom and I have our "Brandy Old Fashioneds" we always toast you. Mom misses you terribly..you were pals and companions. Thank you for all the years you looked after her and Dad. You left very large shoes to fill. We miss your wonderful Christmas Eves and Thanksgivings and all the other gatherings you had. I will never forget your generosities to me. You are loved by everyone who knew you. Growing up we had our differences but we became friends and I cherish this. As we approach the first year without you, we are hopeful the pain will lessen as time goes on but you and your personality and spirit will never diminish in our minds and hearts. You are in some very good company so watch over us and pray for us. I love you forever and will keep your memory alive for as long as I live! So long for now.
Love,
Dorothea

A letter to Barbara..
Dearest Barbara,
Even though you are no longer with us, those who loved you will remember you in their prayers, their hearts and their memories. When you and Dorothea were growing up, you were, as the Irish would say, "thick as thieves" and it remains that way. You were blessed with a wonderful family and they in turn were pleased and blessed to have you as one of them. I know God is holding you in his arms and this is the ultimate reward for the joy you brought into all our lives. I was honored to be your Godmother. A fond farewell!
All my love,
Florence

I didn't know Barb as well as some, but remember her as a wonderful, fun person to be around. We spent some time with the Pernices and their children up in Galena, and had a ball. She will be a wonderful addition to the heaven above. So sorry for your loss.

I enjoyed all the time I spent with Barb working on the computer, enjoying her cooking, sitting out on the back patio sharing our lives. I am grateful to have had her enter my life, and sad to see her go. She has left fond memories that I will cherish forever.

Barb was just a sweetheart, possibly ready to laugh more than anyone I've ever known. Of course we'll miss her deeply, but also remember her constantly, and always fondly. Thanks for being such a wonderful person, Barb. Our thoughts and prayers are with your wonderful family.

Joyce Griffin nailed it on the head! Barb was always full of life. I never heard her complain about anything. She always had a smile on her face. She loved her husband, children, Charlie, and friends to the max. I wish I could have spent more time with her. My mistake. She has now taught me to cherish every day, live life to its fullest and be happy! We will truly miss her!
Love,
Laura, Tony and Andrew Romano

My husband John and I were blessed to share a Baltic cruise with Barb and her husband Sal several years ago. It was a memorable experience complemented with the opportunity to share with Barb who was a fun and loving person. Barb and Sal also blessed us when they came to our son's funeral four years ago and that meant a lot to us. We pray God's comfort for Sal and family.

I didn't know Barbara, I do know Dor. I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. Dor has mentioned through the last couple years of the couragous battle she fought with her illness. You all have
another angel looking out for you. As you look into the sky, there will be a
brighter star and that will be her
shining down from above.
Sincerely...Debbie Law
