Your first staff meeting as night charge nurse-my first night as a "real" nurse on nights. I will always hold you in my heart as friend and mentor. Heaven is a more blessed place with you!

Caley,
I have many many fond memories of 'Aunt Barb', although we were really cousins. (Helen's brother, Jim Parlin, was my dad.) Barb could light up a room and always had a joke or a smile to share! Once when you were a little girl, I took you shopping and bought you a pair of the most gaudy pink and purple striped socks I ever saw. You loved them, and Barb cursed me up and down for those things- she said you never wanted to take them off. Of course all was said with a smile! I haven't seen her as of late, but I'll always remember who (I believe) was my namesake!
You are in my prayers!
Love, Barb Parlin
