I enjoyed watching the friendship she shared with Marlene and the rest of your neighbors. There was always so much love for one another as well as their families. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a GREAT woman, I was at her retirement party along with my mother Ernestine Luckett, a long time friend of Barbara. I grew up with her children. She will be missed, but she is in a better place. You are all in my prayers.

My name is Sheila Vivians and I would like to give the family my love and support. I met Barb on 70th Eberthart as a neighbor next door and she, Marlene, Julie, Brenda, and I all became friends of the 70th street block. We sat on Barb porch or front room and just gossip about our lives as women. I have never experience and had so much fun until I met Barb and Marlene my two favorite Golden Girls. I will never forget Sharon, Connnie,Tina and Pierre her children. I party with you all at many of your mother's events. They were the bomb. I will also like to give my love to her grandchildren and their children. I will truly miss her big smile, advicing me about men, sharing the "HEN" parties for the females, laughing at me and Fello fighting, also she helped me get involve with Crisic Intervention Jobs, I will never forget her raisin salad and most of all sitting on the end of the bed just talking. I Love you All and keep the faith and Spirit. Oh YELL Barb was one of the SHARPEST to the TEE dresser I met when she was going out and on her November Cruises. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grand children with all her heart. She will be miss by me and my family. The Vivians
