Jim I am sorry that I missed the wake and funeral. I looked everyday and I couldn't find any info. Now that I did it is too late. My heart goes out to you and your family and I have you and mom in my prayers. May she rest in the arms of our beloved Savior. Hugs to you Buffo.

My deepest sympathy to Barb's (as I always knew her)family and friends. I've known her all my 73 years, growing up together as our parents were the best of friends. Her father Bill was like a father to my father. I recall one Halloween day as a third grader I didn't have a costume and my mother and Barb thought about dressing me up as a girl with Barb's clothes. They actually did too good of a job, as I was crushed when my next door neighbor didn't want to give me any candy because she didn't know me, calling me "little girl", not liking the image at all, and she knew me well. Barb, Ken and I had many happy times before and after they were married, especially with boats and water skiing. We got them started and I think it went on for years after Jacki and I left for the west coast. We even got Ken up on a horse a few times, but I think he had too much "city" in him to care much for it. After I began college I would often times stop in to see Barb on my way home and talk over a cup of coffee; and I remember on one of those days on my way there, I heard a report that president Kennedy had been shot. We were quite saddened about that. As the time and miles grew longer we stayed in touch with Christmas cards, and when I came in town I called her several times for lunch but she was busy with everyday things for my impromptu suggested get togethers, which I now deeply regret more than ever.
