I will remember Barb as a woman with a peaceful manner, contagious and continuous smile, a beautiful love for her cats and a huge heart . She shared her experience of battles she fought that gave much hope to so many including myself. I'm forever grateful to have known such a beautiful Soul

Maybe it´s selfish but I miss the early morning texts; the agreement to go for a swim at the JCC; another road trip to Duluth; an enthusiastic read of a passage from Alan Watts or Anthony DeMello. I know you had to go, my friend. I´ll be grateful and cherish the last few incredibly enjoyable days and years but today, I miss you my friend. A big space in the world and so many lives to fill. Barb loved so and was so easily loved. Goodbye to a great friend.

She was an amazing woman in my life and many others as well! Her smile would light up the room the moment she walked in! She always encouraged me to be the best me I could be. She said I gave the best hugs in which I argued back that she did! She will always be a mentor in my recovery that I will treasure! Keep a watch over us all my dear friend and may our paths cross again someday on the next journey! Much love

Danny and family - Wishing you peace. Just know Barb's legacy will carry on through all of the hearts and souls she touched.

I'll cherish Barb's wisdom, humility, and humor. Always one to not take herself so seriously.

I worked with Barb at the CBOE. When she was getting her masters, she asked if I would review some of her papers for her. I was happy to do so. She was a bright woman. So sad to hear this news. May God comfort her family and friends.
