Dorothy, you and Duane were always the dearest best friends, and our kids other set of parents. We have great memories, cooking, laughing, telling jokes, practical jokes, the Neihart cabin days. Our kids have great memories also and always loved "aunt Dorothy and uncle Duane". He will be truly missed, but we are all blessed to have had him as a part of our lives. We love you both, love and blessings,Mark and Judy

Dear Dorothy,
We were so sad to hear the news of Duane's passing. He lives on in our memories with his laughter, funny jokes, unstoppable energy and love. Etched in our hearts and minds are the road trips to get restaurant equipment, the trade shows, dinners with you both and just great family get-togethers. We have always been so inspired by your love and care for him too Dorothy. We love and miss you and pray that you are comforted in this time of loss.-Lisa, Chris, Kathy, Nick, Evi, William and Bronte

Duane,
What wonderful memories of our times in Great Falls and Billings, the all day cooking and "sampling" of your wonderful concoctions and Dorothy on prep and clean up duty (no easy task), I still use some of your receipts. The drying Peking duck hanging in the doorway of your apartment always brings a smile...and the gallons and gallons of Tom & Jerry you were famous for... Always a laugh and smile for everyone...the best jokes of the day were always coming from you.
Many lives were brightened by your great sense of humor and warm heart. I am sure you are cooking up a storm right now and taking orders for everyone's favorite dish. You will be missed. My life is better for having you and Dorothy in it. God's speed.

I was so sorry to hear about Duane's passing. When I got the e-mail today from Dad letting me know, it reminded me of the time when you and Duane came to Columbus to take Grandma and Grandpa to dinner. I was probably in junior high at the time, but even though I didn't have a driver's license he left me drive his sports car. And then after dinner he let me have a Brandy Alexander. He was a great guy and will be missed. You have my deepest sympathies.

Over the past several years of doing the coffee order for Dorothy I grew very close to both of you, I always loved how Duane would make me laugh and brighten my day when I would call to talk to Dorothy! You will be missed by so many... Even though we never met face to face, my heart will always have a space for the both of you.
