Loving husband of 61 years to Sarah (nee Connor) O'Malley. Proud father of the late Tony (Cathy), Patrick (Jodi), and John O'Malley. Cherished grandfather to Clare (Fiance Dan Griffin) Jackie, Patrick, Austin, Ashley, Aidan, Kylie and Ryan. Dear Brother of Sr. Carmel, Angela and Margaret. Fond uncle of many nephews and nieces. Mass Tuesday, August 9th at 11:30 am at St. Christinas Church, 3342 West 111th Street Chicago.

I´ve been thinking of Austin and discovered his obituary. My heartfelt condolences to Sarah and to his whole family. I met him at the old Cook County Hospital and he was such a character! He made a friend to all that knew him. Great sense of humor and wit. May he rest in peace.
