Matthews, Aubrey D. Jr. Aubrey DeCosta Matthews, Jr., age 62, passed away after a short illness on December 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Alice, nee Jones, loving father of Brian Matthews, Erin (Claude) Thomas, Celeste Matthews, Justin (Andrea) Hvitfeldt-Matthews, and Yancy Matthews. Devoted grandfather of Zakariah, Adam and Moses Hvitfeldt-Matthews, Brennan Osteen, Sidney and Cierra Thomas, and Marissa Gibson; and brother of Sandra (Ali) Mohammad, Toney Matthews, and Jeffery (Tina) Matthews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and close friends. Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m .at A.A. Rayner & Sons, 318 E. 71st St., Chicago, Il. Visitation Thursday 10 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Columbanus Church, 331 E. 71st St., Chicago, Il., Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St., Worth, Il.
