To the Finkelman Family - my deepest sympathies to all of you. I had just seen Arvin on the Tuesday and Friday before he passed and we commiserated together about how we had both been feeling bad for awhile. He will be missed very much. I have dealt with him for many years and he always had a smile and a good word for me and everyone else.

Arvin was a great guy, quiet, unassuming and nice. I remember him making chocolate phosphates for me at finkelman drugs on the corner of madison and lotus. And then later I enjoyed working with him at golden drugs in berwyn when I was a stock boy. My condolences to his family.

I am so glad that Arvin had a family. Meaning a wife and children. I and mine have always thought highly of him. He was so nice to my 54 yr old son, Bill, when Bill was a kid. So, we go back a long way. All the way to Finkelman Drugs on Madison and Lotus in Chicago. Sincere sympathy and love to all of you. Jo Ann Freberg Kiefer

I just wanted you to know your husband was a very, very nice person, he knew all of his customers by name, and even recognized my voice over the phone.
He always took the time to explain any medicine or correct any insurance issue.
He will be missed.

Dear Jane & Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I've had the pleasure of working with Arvin for the past 5 years. To this day, I have not met one person who did not like this man, be they customer or co-worker. He was one of the kindest people I've ever known. I can't express how much not only I, but our customers will miss him. He was one of a kind, and our pharmacy just won't be the same without him.

Sincerely,
Tracey

To all of Arvin's Friends and Family,

I had the honor of with Arvin at Dominick's 1101 for many years, both as a student/tech and a registered pharmacist.

Arvin was a wonderful man, a wonderful pharmacist and a lot of fun to work with. I will miss most discussing the White Sox and listening to games with him while at work.

Please know that we were all better for having known him and that he will be missed.

"May the G-d of peace bring peace to all who mourn. Comforting all in our midst who are bereaved."

Love,
Shari Back, Dominick's Pharmacist
