Mitchell, Arthur S. Age 90. Beloved husband of the late Tillie A. (nee Palac); loving father of Diane (Brian) Bulkley, Tom A. (Jean), and the late Scott (Patricia Schultz) Mitchell; cherished Grandpa of David (Amanda) and Sharon Mitchell, Kristin (Robert) Strickland, Jason and Adam Bulkley, Matthew (Sarah), Brandon (Megan), Cynthia and Jamie Mitchell; Great-Grandpa of Ashley and Emma Mitchell and Matthew Strickland; devoted brother-in-law of Laverne (the late Walter) Mitchell; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his siblings, William (Ruth), Millie (Ray) Gutrich, Carl (Sylvia) and Marion (Robert) Smith. He was a Korean War Veteran and member of the Local AmVets and VFW Arthur Mitchell Post #5220. He was also a proud member of Local Plumbers Union #130. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/. Visitation Thursday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9:00 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge to Queen of Martyrs Church, 10233 S. Central Park, Evergreen Park.
