Arthur Marks Obituary

Marks, Arthur beloved husband of Barbara (nee Epstein), loving father of Phillip (Stacy) and Sara Marks, adored son of Natalie and the late Aaron Marks, caring brother of Edward (Debbie) Marks, Robin (Chris) Sherwood, Jeff (Laurence Le Garrec) Marks, Vivian (Glen Weiss) Marks. He had a distinguished 40 year career as a financial services professional. He was a long-time, proud member of Buffalo Grove Rotary Club, Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band and enjoyed playing soprano bugle in the Des Plaines Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corp. He enjoyed golf, bowling and was an enthusiastic Chicago Cubs fan. Services Monday, 10 a.m., at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. (one block N. of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band, Attn: Ghida Neukirch, 50 Raupp Blvd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, or Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove Charitable Foundation, P.O. Art was a good friend and an original member of the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band. He will be missed by his many friends in the Band. We were honored that he came to our concert on July 4th. The Band will not be the same without him.
