Arthur Lindquist Obituary

Lindquist, Arthur "Gus" Age 93, US Army Veteran of WWII, late of Tinley Park, formerly of Hazel Crest, passed away Wednesday, March 07, 2012. Cherished husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" nee Nichols. Preceded in death by 2 loving sisters, Esther and Viola. Gus was a retired business agent of the Painters Union Local 191. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 Noon with Rev. David Hedlin, Pastor officiating at PALOS-GAIDAS FUNERAL HOME (EDGAR FUNERAL DIRECTORS), 11028 S. Southwest Hwy (7700 W). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park. For further information regarding services, please contact EDGAR FUNERAL DIRECTORS at 708/ 423-1600 or 773/ 723-0876.

Arthur was a buisness agent in the 1970s for local 191. He was a good friend and a good buisness agent. I was in the local 191 with him. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

i met Arthur while In the hospital the end of January for an angiogram. We were roommates for a couple of days. A wonderful man. He shared several wonderful stories with me that I will remember the rest of me life.
