Arthur Levoff Obituary
Levoff, Arthur J. Art Levoff, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28 with his family at his side. He was the very beloved husband and dearest best friend of his wife Barbara. He died from complications of ARDS (Accute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). Art was the loving father of Jeff Levoff and Jamie (Marc) Spungin and the devoted poppa of Jason and Jarrett Simon and Charlie Spungin, he was also the fond stepdad of David (Susan) Wolf and Jeff Wolf and the step-granddad to Melody, Hallie, Chris, Sam and Alex Wolf and great-granddad to Courtney Wolf. He was the dear son of the late Lucille and Jack Levoff and brother of the late Marilyn (Mike) Falk and the very special grandson of his adored Bubbe Greenberger. Art will be lovingly remembered and fondly missed by so many special and longtime friends. He attended Von Steuben High School and the University of Illinois at Champaign where he was a T.E.P. after graduation. He served two years in the Army and reminisced with great fondness of his growing up days in Albany Park and at Eugene Field Park. He himself was so special to all of us, and would want us to celebrate his life. He was happy and enjoying his retirement. We will always cherish his memory. I am my Beloved and my Beloved is Mine. Service Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. For info 847-256-5700. Art was one of the individuals with whom I did business that I always enjoyed seeing. He was a continuous reminder of the importance of attitude, integrity and taking pride in everything you do. I'm blessed to have known him and offer my sincere condolences on his passing to all his loved ones.
