Georgia Laurino (Pavek)

December 11, 2009

Esther, It is Dec. 11, and I just saw on the internet the passing of your husband Art. I don't know if you will remember me my name is Georgia Laurino (Pavek). We worked together so very long ago at General Electric Supply Co. on Clinton St. in Chgo. I sat right in front of you. Remember our boss, Ronnie. I am so very sorry to hear of Art's passing. I remember so many of his stories. I always thought you were one of the nicest couples I ever knew. What's amazing is how often through the years I thought of you both and remembered your names and also where you use to live at that time.
The Lord Jesus be with you and your family.
I would love to hear from you my email is: [email protected]

Dear Esther & Family,
This world was a better place because of Art's kind heart, and now I know heaven is blessed with his happiness. We'll never forget the day "Santa" came to our front door on Christmas morning, and James was so scared he shut the door on him. Please remember we are here for you if you need anything. With love from the Durkins.

The kids and I are always here and want you to know that we love you deeply. We will miss Uncle Arthur and hold him in our hearts. We pray that he now rests and can smile and show the angels what a handsome and intelligent man he is. Him and daddy sisto can now relax and be in paradise together while uncle art can work on his angel mobile. :)

I love you very much. My Uncle Art what can I say. If it wasn't for him always telling me of how proud he was and how i was his favorite(Shhh)I would not be where I am today. He always wanted to see me go off to college and be happy. I am mourning the loss of my uncle Arthur but enjoying and remembering the memories i hold deep in my heart.

My Dearest Esther, I came to this page right after Lara called me this morning and though I knew this time would come words cannot express how I feel. Art has been on my mind these past few days. I remember the funny, sweet, and loving man that Art is. Did he ever finish his car? :-) I will remember Art with that car and with his garden and most of all with you and his family. You two have a marriage made in heaven and I am a firm believer you will be together again. Esther, my dearest friend, my deepest and heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Family,
I can still see Arthur in my mind's eye, standing on the porch at the Halstead street house, looking sharp in his navy hat and uniform. That's how I shall remember him, forever young, with a cocky smile and the whole world before him.
Sincerest condolences at this time of loss.
Love,
Calita and Fred Pisapia
