Bernie, Colleen, Bebe, Coco, and Amber.

I am so sorry about the passing of your mom. She was your everything. I remember so many things about her. Sharing all those meals together at Archway and the Caribe. Your mom and mine always cheering for us at our baseball games. Your mom driving us to Boy Scouts. Arlene was one of a kind. I am glad I went to see her in April before I moved overseas. I introduced her my baby girl Kylie.
I am sure Lovey is with your mom in heaven. Till we meet again.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Bernie, Ugene and my Big Sis

Now tell me what am I going to do? whos going to tell me if its going to rain the next day or not? ("ohhhh my feet hurt oohhhhhh its gonna rain 2marrow") u know Arlene was good at that. Whos going to make me that delicious cheese cake? I can still hear her laugh now, that unique laugh she had. She would always say "Back in the day", the famous "Edges and Ledges", she was a wise, strong, hard working women. "Champagine taste on a water budget" she would always tell me. She was more than a co-worker, more than a friend, I cared for her like a mother and she will always remain in my heart.
