She danced, she sang. She took, she gave. She served, she loved. She created. She dissented. She enlivened. She saw, she grew, she changed. She learned, she laughed. She shed her skin. She bled on the pages of her days. She walked through walls. She lived with intention.

To the Klora Family,
Mrs. Klora was an inspiration to so many young people, helping them to see the world in different ways and to discover and develop artistic expression. It was wonderful to watch our daughter and her classmates develop these talents under Mrs. Klors guidance. We felt particularly blest when she took our foster son from India, who had little English language ability and physical challenges, under her wing. She helped him to shine through art. She always expressed interest when we shared his emails with news of his progress in school back in India. Thank you Arilda for sharing yourself with so many. To her family and loved ones, thank you for sharing her. May God help you to remember the good times to get you through the difficult moments ahead.

Coach K,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My heart dropped when I heard about your loss. I can remember a quote you used to tell Shannon and I before a match, "...a joyful participation in the sorrows of life." Through the grief and pain, may you too find JOY. I carry your words with me to this day. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jim,
I was saddened to hear about your loss, but happy to know things were peaceful for Arilda. I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I was always so happy to see Arilda and you at U of C, she had a beautiful, artistic spirit to the end and you were such a powerful, loving support to her. Both of you were an inspiration to me. Please feel free to contact me if you need anything.

Dearest Jim, Alexis and Adria,
My heart has been heavy these past few days with thoughts of Arilda's passing. I cannot begin to express how deeply moved and saddened Tori and I are because she is no longer physically here with you and us. However, please know that she is, and always will be with us in spirit and in memory.
The wonderful memories I have of all the great times we shared with you and with Arilda in the past will never leave me and I will cherish them forever...my childhood in Beverly Shores, Arilda's art classes with Darius and Viva, our Colorado adventure, Christmas-time visits, your attendance at our wedding, and so many more fond memories. I am so grateful to have these memories and to have had the joy of knowing Arilda.
We wish you peace and comfort during this time.
Love,
Eddy Erslovas

Mr. Klora -
We are truly saddened at hearing of the passing of your wife. Your family is in our prayers. I will always remember her generosity and kindness when we were painting homes in Beverly Shores that summer. I think she thought we were crazy - a high school teacher/tennis coach and one of his students/friends tackling such jobs. You are in our thoughts.

Our deepest sympathy. I am not writing many words because there are not many words that truly express our sadness. Arilda will always have a special place in our hearts and the fond memories we shared.
Why? Is a question we will never get answered.

My deepest sympathy to you, dear cousin, Jimmy, and the rest of the family on Arilda's passing into Glory. I know it is not an easy time, but trust in God and He will help ease the pain and get you through this. Arilda is at her eternal home now - take comfort in that.
I'm sorry I won't be able to make it out to the wake/funeral. Again, my condolences to you. Take care . . .

Dear Family of Arilda,
Please accept my sympathy to each of you at the loss of your loved one. I will always remember Arilda because she was a Lithuanian teacher at St. Casimir Parish in Gary. During that time she was an outstanding teacher who also contributed to the programs by preparing creative and new projects. She made the lithuanian motif decorations for the stage which remained there for many years. She and you are in my prayers.
