Wendling, Anton beloved husband of Adelaide and the late Helene, dear father of Robert (Elizabeth) and Anton (Cynthia) Wendling, fond grandfather of Katrina, Michael, Angeline, Jeanette, Charles and Mark, brother of Adolph and Rellie, brother-in-law of Rosina Katzenberger and George Herzog. Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m. from Grein Funeral Directors, 2114 W. Irving Park Rd. to St. Benedict Church, Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. We just heard about this sad, sad passing. The members of the Steirer Club of Chicago will miss seeing him at the Steirer Picnic. I enjoyed his company many times as he would come to the Steirer Alm to visit just to enjoy the beauty of the Alm. He sent me many pictures he made at the Steirer Alm and would always write in german His "steirische" accent always made me smile. I am very sorry for your loss, he was a very nice person.
