Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, South Carolina. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia, South Carolina is in charge of local arrangements. Born in Omaha, Nebraska she was the daughter of William and Martha Herman. Former employee of Chicago Board of Education. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Chicago. Mrs. Jackson passed on February 23, 2012 in Columbia, South Carolina. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Busch and Pamela (Eddie) Nesmith; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and dear friends all of whom will miss her dearly. www.bosticktompkinsinc.com
