Zanghi, Anthony N. of Berwyn, U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of Theresa (nee Isola), loving father of Linda (Michael) Ward, Edward A. (Diane), and Norma "Bunny", proud grandfather of Kenneth (Danna) Gross, Sandra, Jeanine, Elyse, and great-grandfather of Caitlin Felde, Connor and Delaney Gross, dear brother of Curci Printz, Russell (Gerry) Zanghi, and Sam (Elaine) Zanghi, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, November 23rd, 9:30 a.m. from the Joseph Nosek & Sons Funeral Home, 6716 W. 16th St. (1 block east of Oak Park Ave.), Corner of Euclid, Berwyn, to St. Mary of Celle Church. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Motorola Retiree's Club College Scholarship Fund, 920 E. We were so sorry to read of Tony's passing in the Berwyn Life. Tony was one of my customers when he worked at Motorola and I worked at Walter H Brooke. It was such a surprise to learn he was also our neighbor. Another surprise is that he was also a friend of another close friend of ours. We will miss waving to him as he came out of the garage and seeing him taking his walks around Berwyn. Our sympathy to Theresa and all of the family.

Dearest Theresa and Family:
What fun we had when we worked with you and Tony on the USS San Juan Reunion. He was a great sailor when we both sailed the Pacific together during WWII. Your husband was a true war hero, as he was awarded 6 battle stars for his participation in sea battles from Philippines to Tokyo Bay. He took great pride in his liberation duties to free US and British POWs thruout Japan at the end of the war. Hail to Tony Zanghi as a member of the Greatest Generation. A true Panther shipmate, wonderful husband and super dad.
