Tony 17 years later and the other great Tony (Bennett) has now risen to greet you.
I still remember your twinkling blue eyes, wonderful smile and above all your kindness to us all. I loved posing on the runner of that yellow car the picture of which you hung on the wall of the gas station; I was honored. After all this time I still miss you. I don´t see the boys anymore and pray the family is doing well. Your forever friend,
Cheryl Rost

My prayers and thoughts to the Venturini family

May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

The rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Tony was truly a unique and wonderful man, so full of life and enthusiasm. A pleasure to be in his company. I will truly miss those three hour breakfasts we had when I was in Chicago and he was in Concord, NC visiting Bill and his family. We'll get together for breakfast in heaven I'm sure. To Tony's family my prayers and condolences.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Venturini family at this most difficult time. Tony was / is the best. The times we were heading to McHenry and we'd stop for gas, he always threw a case of Pepsi in the trunk of the car for us kids.

I'll never forget the time I got Tony's autograph for show and tell in school. I was proud to have a race car driver in my family - I still am! He was happy to do it for me and I was the talk of the class for a while. Thanks Tony!

Tony has touched the lives of many people and he will be missed. Please take comfort in knowing he is in a better place with his loved ones who have gone before him.

Again, my thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

EARLIER DAYS AS A YOUNG LAWYER GETTING STARTED. IT WAS ALWAYS NICE TO STOP IN AT CROSBY SERVICE AND SEE TONY AT THE STATION. I WILL MISS HIS FRIENDSHIP. MAY HIS MEMEORY BE ETERNAL.

To All of the Venturini's...

I'll always remember the good times at the Gas Station...The Oyster Bar in back..Wow!..The"SNOW SYSTEM"...YOU CANT BEAT THE SYSTEM!

The day you did gas at a penny a gallon..I was in line for 3 1/2 hrs in the heat!!!and still didnt get the gas...The hanging out in front,on those plastic chairs in the middle of the night..the 11-7 shift talking fishing with Kerry..

Tony...you were one heck of man in your domain you selected as your career..you were the BEST!!

Now you've earned your spot where the cars that pull up are all full of fuel...all running like swiss watches..and youre standing there with your hands in your pockets looking at roads paved in shimmering gold waiting for your next road trip...God's speed Tony..Enjoy The Ride!!

Dear Uncle Tony, this world has lost an extaordinary man. As sad as it makes me, to think you are no longer here, I know you are at peace, and are in the arms of those who loved you, but have already gone ahead to their reward. My condolences to your family and friends. I know how heartbreaking this must be for them, to say goodbye to a man who has done so much for so many and who never asked for anything in return. A kind, giving man, whose smile and twinkling eyes, I will never forget. All my love, Rhonda

We are very sad to hear of Tony's passing. Tony was a wonderful man and a dear friend - loved by all. We enjoyed working with him at the Cub Scout Spaghetti Dinners at St. Eugene - loved having him in the kitchen helping out with the cooking. It was a pleasure hearing all his stories and jokes. We will miss Tony!! Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony and his family. May God hold you in the palm of his hand and may you always remember the beautiful times you had with Tony.

It’s hard to say goodbye when someone we love passes . . our heart feels broken. May your hearts begin to heal . . . and the beautiful memories become more clear with every passing day.

Tony was one of a kind. He was entertaining, a quick wit and offered help to anyone who sought his advice. He was also a devoted family man and very successful in his demanding, competitive business. Best of all, Tony was a wonderful friend.

Rest in peace, Tony, you were a gift and you will be missed.
