My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy to Coach Sudar's family. Back in the 60's, he was my gym teacher at Brookwood. He has held a special place in my heart, even though I had not seen him since visiting with my infant daughter while he was a Guidance Counselor at Thornwood. He always had a smile on his face and made all of his students feel so special. He was thoughtful, kind, considerate, and encouraging. I remember him singing "Your are my sunshine", and he certainly was mine. It is because of the person HE was, that I became a PE teacher. I only hope I was able to impact half as many lives as he did. What an inspiration to so many! Coach Sudar, may your light shine through those of us fortunate enough to know you. May we continue your legacy, treating others with the same love, respect, and kindness you so clearly demonstrated. Heaven certainly did add another angel. You have left this earth, but will forever remain in the hearts of so many.

As a '76 Grad Mr. Sudar was my Counselor at Thornwood. He was always approachable and kind. I couldn't ask for a better mentor and true friend. He was always there to lend an ear and offer advice. He made my high school years enjoyable. Rest in peace Mr. Sudar. Heaven just added another Angel to the fleet.

Mr. Sudar was always there for us, and our daughter Katharine, when she attended Seton academy. He shared his knowledge, good sense, and wonderful jokes. If a well-lived life is judged by those whom you help, then Mr. Sudar is in the front row in Heaven. He was a dear, sweet, and very handsome man. The Abbott family sends our sincere condolences to his loved ones.

My thoughts and prayers to the Sudar family. Mr. Sudar was my guidance counselor at Thornwood - and also knew my Dad. He was the kindest man - not intimidating at all to a 15 year old girl. Therefore, I just loved him. He was also a chaperone at my Senior Prom and we had a dance together. I will always remember him fondly.

Mr. Sudar had a way about him, that made you want to do better. He ultimately convinced me to get off my bum, and try a little harder. He always told me that I could do it. That it wasn't too late for college. And he was right. What a sweet genuine spirit. I appreciate what he did for me, and all of my other Seton sisters. May he rest in peace. I'll never forget that smile :-)

Packy was the best guidance counselor anyone could ask for! He was the most kind and gentle man. I loved him as my drivers ed teacher as well. One time I was driving with him and he told me to exit the highway and I did. There was someone going down the off ramp, going the wrong way, heading towards us. I didn't panic. He told me to move to the shoulder and he got out and flagged down this car. It was an elderly woman. She didn't know where she was. He saved her life and got in her car and drove her to her on ramp. I'll never forget that memory. He was the best. He was a bright light in my memories at Seton and his kindness will never be forgotten. RIP Packy. You lived a wonderful life and helped so many students. You were an inspiration to me in my life. Thank you.

I only hope that when it is my turn to leave this place that I will have touched so many lives as you have! Thank you for being apart of my life.
