Carolyn, Roxanne, Ashley:
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your dad had the innate ability to make everyone feel special. My fondest memories include long discussions with him on aviation, the "white" snowman outside the house each and every Christmas, the swimming pool, the motorcycle, and of course Muffin.
It was so nice to see each of you Thursday evening seeing the love and support from family, friends, and neighbors during this difficult time.
Best,
Your Karen Lane Buddy,

I am missing him every second of every day! Our hearts are all hurting but I find comfort in the fact that I was able to love Uncle Tony for 29 years. It was a true honor! He is leaving an incredible legacy and I trust that my cousins and my aunt will carry it on! He always brought a smile to everyone's face and people fell in love with him instantly after they met him. Heck, that's probably why Steve married me, because after he met Uncle Tony he fell more in love with my family! I will speak fondly of him forever. I will always smile when I hear my two beautiful cousins call me "Dolly" because it reminds me of Uncle Tony. I think he taught us all how to enjoy every moment and to make the most out of our lives. I am so glad that I had a chance to see him last week and hear him call me "Dolly" one more time.

I knew Butch in grade school and he was always drawing pictures of planes in class and talking about flying them some day. It would appear that he lived life like he dreamed it. Few people have this privilege. God bless and comfort his family during this time of loss.

Carolyn, Ashley and Roxanne,
Take comfort in Tony's Smile,
Take comfort in Tony's sense of humor,
Take comfort in the fact he made all feel like family,
Take comfort in his bravery.
Take comfort that God's Angel is at home and in peace.
Take comfort on a rainy day... as it's probably Tony making God and the angels laugh untill they cry.
Take comfort in knowing that you are all loved more then words can express.
You all are in my thought and prayers and now we all have a special Gaurdian Angel who cares.

Carolyn, Ashley and Roxanne - I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. Never have I met someone who loved life more then your father. As the little Jewish boy growing up next door to you guys - I remember how your father always made everyone feel welcome, Especially during the FAMOUS ROMITO CHRISTMAS PARTIES. Your dad once told me that Santa will come to my house because I know the Romito's (HE DID)!!! Thats when I knew your pops was the coolest!!! Did you know that your daddy once flew with Santa!!! He told me that secret at Esposito's pizza. I have many fond memories of your dad. All good!!! Memories such as flying kites, Cal's Hot Dogs, Memco, Fireworks, Cadillac's, Scary Movies, Beer, Girls and most of all FAMILY. Family and friends were very important to Tony Romito. If your were Tony's friend THEN YOU WERE FAMILY!!! If you were family then you were considered a VIP. Tony Romito defined cool. There was James Dean, Humphrey Bogart, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Tony Romito. I'm a better man because I knew your father and consider it a privilege to have been his co-pilot on several TOP SECRET Karen Lane missions. G-d Speed Tony Romito. G-d Speed.

Carolyn, Ashley and Roxanne please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Dear Carolyn, Roxanne and Ashley,
Our thoughts are with you at this sorrowful time. Tony was such a wonderful, passionate and brave man, quick with a smile and the ability to turn a phrase that made him utterly unforgettable. And surely, just as all knew how much he loved and doted on his girls in life, so too, will he continue to do so from above.
He will be missed so very much, by all who had the priveldge of knowing him.
Godspeed and god bless you Tony.

My dearest uncle, it seems like yesterday, 50 years ago, when you first came into our living room in your Marine uniform, did I ever think you would have such an impact on me, Tony and my daughters, Christine and Maria (your godchild). You definitely have made this world a better place with you in it and I am so fortunate to have known you and loved you for these years and thank you, Auntie Carolyn for marrying him. I hope you and Frank are having a coffee and a coney on us. Auntie Carolyn, Ashley and Rox you guys are a part of our hearts and we will all get through this together. Love you, Linda xxoo

Dear Sweet Friend,
Still flying United, but now with the angels - free of pain and I hope confident knowing you were a truly great man. Your family and gazillion friends will gain their own private comfort with the beautiful memories you've provided - of laughter, generosity, amazing humor, boundless enthusiasm, and your delicious love of life. You are adored by everyone who ever met you, and you've left the world a poorer place for your absence. Thanks for all the times.
From one of the early Edison Parkers who for so many years knew you as "Butch" and finally had to agree that as the hero you became, had to be called Tony.

Good bye, dear Tony.
Your leaving will create a hole that can't be filled by anyone other than you. Fortunately, for all of us left behind, you gave us so much of you to remember that you will live in our hearts until there there is no one left who had the pleasure of sharing your life, if even in a small way.

I spent many of weekends at the Romito house and it was always great fun...especially those weekends where tree trimming was happening. Tony took joy out of seeing his "Jewish children" trim the tree. My thoughts are with Carolyn, Ashley and Roxanne at this time. He may be gone but a man like Tony Romito will never be forgotten.
