Dear Kois Family,
My heartfelt condolences to the family. Words cannot ease the pain of losing someone you love. May the God of loving kindness and compassion console your grieving heart during this difficult time. Psa. 94:18, 19.

Last week, our Earth angel,Tony took an "Army helicopter" ride to the "Pleasure Dome" where the doors to Heaven opened. It is with heavy hearts that Patrice and I say good-bye, but joyful hearts that we had him in our lives. Tony never had an enemy, never hurt one soul and never met a person who wasn't touched by him. He was by far the happiest person in our family, thanks in huge part to his parents and sister. He loved his life and lived by his own terms, something few of us can truly say. So,now we must say: "Enjoy your NEW great life Tone, and we'll see you on the other side one day" Love, Aunt Peach & Uncle Lo xxoo

Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are asking the Lord to wrap you in His love & comfort. Tony was a special gift to us all. I will always remember him with his little telescope watching out for his neighbors, especially my Mom who lived across the street! I know he will still be doing that only from a higher perspective!
God Bless and comfort you and your family!

Emily and Jim,
You and your beautiful children will always, to me, remain some of the fondest memories of my youth. It seems like yesterday that Jacqueline and I spent so many hours at your kitchen table laughing with Rae and Tony.
Like everyone, i broke down when I heard this news.
But, when I think of the sweet way about him and the funny things he did -- purposefully, to make us laugh -- I smile and laugh out loud.
That kid was some gift. What a joy!
A poet said that Joy and Sorrow go hand-in-hand and so it stands to reason that the very things which bring us the most joy are bound to be the same ones that cause the most sorrow upon their loss.
Of course, none of us would forego the joy of having Tony in our lives just to avoid the inevitable sorrow his loss brings.
Still, I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. You two are top of mind for me right now and I look forward to visiting and hugging your necks.
In the mealtime, I'm holding on to my belief that what sadness I feel is nothing compared to the joy I got from being able to look at life from the perspective of a man like Tony.
You must be very proud.
