Anthony S. "Tony" Brandys Vietnam War Army Veteran, retired CPD, age 75, beloved husband of Linda (nee Flood); loving father of Tracey, Erica Huff and Stephanie (Kevin) Allison; devoted "Papa" of Zoey Huff, Alexander Huff and Landon Allison; cherished son of the late Anthony and Florence (nee Pieczynski); dearest brother of Ted (Laura) Spiewak, Cindy (the late Phil) Nagel, Robert (Melinda) Spiewak and the late Paul, Stanley, Teri Kriss and Joanne Stanajewski; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tony was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as a Military Police Officer with the 18th MP Brigade. Retired CPD and worked as a safety manger teaching many federal and local safety rules and regulations for several area companies. Avid White Sox and Bears Fan. Classic car enthusiast especially loved his 2 GTOs. Member of Good Guys and National Street Rod Association. Visitation Saturday 12:00-6:00 P.M. Funeral Service Wednesday 9:30 A.M. at Lawn Funeral Home 17909 S 94th Ave Tinley Park IL 60487 Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Wounded Warrior Project Funeral info (708) 532-3100.

While I didn't have the pleasure to work with you, 'on the job,' I respect your dual service to the CPD as well as in the US Army in Vietnam. May the good Lord now invite you into His kingdom for your ultimate ... "Welcome Home."
