Ante Loncar Obituary
Ante Loncar, 80, of Chicago, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was the devoted husband of the late Anica Loncar; loving father of Steve (Dana), Tom (Julia) and Eduard; beloved grandfather of Sophia, Cate, Benson, Riley, and Hope. He was a loyal friend and leaves many loved ones behind. Ante was born September 24, 1941 in Croatia. He moved to Chicago in 1970 and raised his family there. He was a member of Blessed Aloysius Stepinac Croatian Mission Church and Saint Jerome Croatian Catholic Church. He enjoyed tending to her expansive garden and spending time with his friends and family. Visitation Friday, September 9, 5-8pm at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago. Funeral service Saturday, September 10, 10am at Blessed Aloysius Stepinac Croatian Mission Church, 6346 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, followed by a graveside service at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL. The family invites attendees to join them for lunch immediately following the graveside service at Fountain Blue Restaurant, 2300 Mannheim Rd., Des Plaines, IL.
