It is hard to say goodbye to my grammar (Our Lady of Peace) and high school (Mother McAuley) close friend, Anne Brown, who continued to figure in my life for many years in significant as well as loads-of-fun ways. She will not ever be forgotten by me or the many whose lives she touched.

I worked with Anne at NIU for many years. She was smart, funny, and we all were so lucky to have known her. She knew how to bring out the best in the students she worked with. I so looked forward to our times together and I am so sorry that she is no longer here. May your memories bring you peace. I will always smile when I think of Anne.
