Anne Bucalo Obituary

Bucalo, Anne, beloved mother of Brian, Diane and Randy, beloved sister of Joseph, and beloved wife of the late Louis Bucalo, passed away on Monday Sept 1st. Funeral arrangements are being held at the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home at 4061 North Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale, Thursday 3-7pm Sept. 5th and Friday 3-7pm Sept. 6th. A mass will be held at the Assumption Catholic Church at noon Saturday, Sept. 6th, 2001 South Ocean Boulevard in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Anne was born on November 20th, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Antoinette Aragona. She graduated Hunter College with high honors to pursue a teaching career in New York. She devotedly raised 3 children. Brian, after graduating MIT became a Dermatologist; Diane after graduating University of Florida became a Veterinarian; and Randy after graduating Harvard and Stanford Medical School became a Medical Researcher developing new medical treatments. She subsequently moved to Pompano Beach and then Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. She was very active in the Church of St. Gabriel and The Assumption Church of Ft. Lauderdale. She was also a highly respected member of the board of directors of her condo association. She was deeply loved by many friends and family members and will be deeply missed. She is always and forever in our hearts.

To Ann's Family,

I knew Ann when I was working at the Pompano Aegean until she moved to her new condo.

She was a very nice lady and you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
