Anna Spinosa Obituary

ANNA SPINOSA age 90, a longtime resident of New Canaan died Thursday evening June 7, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Italy on June 15, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Felicia Pellegi Bellissimo. Anna was the wife of the late Anthony (Buddy) Spinosa. She had been employed at the Deli-Bake on Elm Street for many years and as a seamstress for the Whitney Shop, and was a longtime communicant of St. Aloysius Church. Anna is Survived by her two daughter, Phyllis Massey-Interlandi and her husband Richard of Port St. Lucie, FL and Patricia Gilbert and her husband Wayne of Sterling Mass. One brother Vincent Bellissimo of Stamford, CT and a sister Lisa Bellissimo of New Canaan Three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Monday June 11, 2012 at 10:00am at St Aloysius Church, Cherry Street, New Canaan with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Hoyt Funeral Home, New Canaan is in charge of arrangements.
