Anna Eastman Obituary

Franklin, NH Mrs. Anna C. Eastman, 96, formerly of Salisbury Rd., Franklin, NH died at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen on April 2, 2005.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Jan. 22, 1909 the daughter of Daniel F. and Anna (Koch) Miller. She was a resident of Franklin since her marriage1935.

Several years ago, while in Ohio, Mrs. Eastman worked as a private nanny. She also was a guitar player and played professionally in the Cincinnati area.

Mrs. Eastman was active in PTA’s in the Franklin School System. She was a member a The Franklin Unitarian Universalist Church and was the widow of Percy Clarence Eastman who died in 1984.

Family members include her son, Elwyn P. Eastman of Franklin, a daughter, Caroline Powers of Swampscott, Mass., 2 grandchildren, Wendy Dorval and Andrew Eastman, both of Franklin, 2 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Entombment will be in Franklin Cemetery with burial later in the spring.

Donations in memory of Mrs. Eastman may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
