Paula, George, and Steven - Sorry to hear about your mom. I spent many afternoons walking across the street from St. Stephen's to spend time at the Wenk household, where your mom was always willing to tolerate our intrusion! My condolences to the entire Wenk family.

Ann has been my friend since 1943 when she moved to Chicago from Taylorville, Illinois. Although we haven't seen one another for many years, we both stayed in touch and never forgot to acknowledge our birthdays and anniversaries. We were married one week apart. She always talked so sweetly about her "Bud" and her children. The way she loved her family will be with them always. While I am profoundly grieved by the loss of my dear friend, I will continue to cherish her friendship as long as I live. My heart and prayers go out to the Wenk family. Love, Carmen and Gene Rodarte
