Benedetto, Angelo beloved husband of Phyllis Benedetto, devoted father of Bonnie Bartucci, Tamara (Charles) Enea and Ernie (Joan) Benedetto, loving grandfather of Michele (Fidel) Valerio, Stephanie, Lindsey Benedetto, great-grandfather of Alex and Victor Valerio, dear brother of the late Monsignor Peter and Fred DiBenedetto, dear uncle of Kristen Hulne, John and Gina DiBenedetto. Funeral Friday, 10 a.m., from Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave, Chicago, to St. Luke Church. Mass 11 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Please omit flowers. For info call: 773-889-1700.

We never had our grandparents with us but you never made it feel like that way. We felt so close to you. We always called you grandpa since we were little and you always responded with a smile. You and grandma talked to us with such great love and welcomed us into your hearts that it never felt you weren't actuallly our grandparents. We shared many laughs which we will never forget. No words can exactly express how we feel but one thing is for sure grandpa, we will miss you tremendously.
