Angela D'Agostino Obituary

D'Agostino, Angela

Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo D'Agostino; loving mother of Anna Maria (Tom) Gallios and Giuseppee (Kathryn) D'Agostino; cherished grandmother of Isabella, Sophia, and Liliana D'Agostino; devoted daughter of the late Giovanni and Rosa Cafaro; dearest sister of Antonio (AnnaMaria) Cafaro, Emiddio (Grazia) Cafaro, Teresa (Pietro) Pessolano, and Ugo (Eliana) Cafaro; dear sister-in-law of Nicolina (Frank) Milito, the late Vincenzina (the late Ciro) Buccino and the late Marco D'Agostino; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Angela was a talented seamstress who left an indelible mark on the world with her exquisite craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic. Born in Auletta, Italy, Angela was a shining example of determination and resilience, making her mark not only in Italy but here in the United States. Moving to The United States in 1968 Angela's dedication to her craft was unparalleled, earning her success and recognition throughout her career. Her hard work and passion for sewing were evident in every stitch she made, captivating all who had the privilege of witnessing her creations.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing her family above all else. She was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to her loved ones, embodying the true spirit of a hard-working go-getter.

Angela was also extremely religious and dedicated to the Catholic Church. She found solace and purpose in her faith and drew strength from her religious convictions. As an integral part of who she was, her faith guided her actions and relationships with those around her.

Among Angela's proudest accomplishments was her unwavering commitment to providing a better life for her two children. She worked tirelessly to build a successful future for them, instilling in them the values of a good education, hard work, perseverance, and integrity.

While we mourn the loss of Angela, we also celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will live on through the beautiful garments she created and the lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.

Angela's spirit will continue to inspire all those who knew her, reminding us to approach life with passion, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to our loved ones. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy will endure for generations to come.

Angela (Nonna as I called her), was one of the biggest and best parts of growing up. Nonna was a pillar of love, light, and the best Italian home cooking you could dream of. I will miss her beautiful smile that always lit up any room she walked into, but most of all, I will miss those loving hugs she always gave out whenever I saw her. Rest in heavenly peace Nonna, ti amo. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the entire D'Agostino family, thank you for sharing your incredible Nonna with me.
