Veremis, Andreas P. "Andy" 74, of Des Plaines. Retired owner of Andy's Restaurant. Beloved husband of Georgia A. (nee Kotsiopoulos), loving father of Perrie Veremis Hayes (Michael), Patricia Veremis Trites (Douglas), Connie Veremis Dernekxis (John) and JoAnne Veremis Zis (Nicholas), cherished grandfather of Marina, Tatiana, Andriana, Georgene, Theodore, Alex, Aaron and Allegra, dear brother of Christ (Georgia) Veremis, Bessie Pasalis and the late Steve (Peggy) Veremis, and Joanne Mannis. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. at funeral home for procession to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster, Des Plaines, for funeral service 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Andreas Veremis Memorial Fund to benefit The Assumption of the Theotokou Church in Steno, Greece.
