Ana Castro Obituary

Castro, Ana Maria

It is with profound sorrow that we share that our beloved mother, Ana Maria Castro, died peacefully on October 26, 2023. Ana was born in April of 1943, to Julio Castro and Regina Perez in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Her life, characterized by unwavering strength, tireless work ethic, and indomitable resilience, serves as an enduring inspiration to us all. On November 4, 2023, Ana was laid to rest in the town where she was born, on the island which she loved so much. Ana was the loving widow of Manuel Hernandez. Their years of marriage were an especially happy chapter in her life, and we find solace and gratitude in the joy he brought her. Ana was a loving mother to Carmen (Scott) Williams, Miriam (Clint) Rivera-Korver, Hector Rivera, Maritza Rivera, Jorge Rivera, and Yvette Quiñones. She leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. El amor de una madre no conoce límites, ni fronteras. Es un amor que trasciende todo y perdura para siempre.
