Amos Baskins Obituary
Florence
Amos Baskins passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at the age of 92 years, after an extended illness.
Mr. Baskins was a member of Rhodesville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Baskins was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Eunice Woods Baskins; an infant daughter, Doris Ann; granddaughter, Michelle Myhan; and greatgrandson, Dylan Chatwood.
Surviving Mr. Baskins are his children, Margaret Earline Bretherick (Dennis), Mary "Tootsie" Myhan (Jimmy), Douglas Baskins (Janice), Tommy Baskins (Sandra), Johnny Baskins (Judy) and Kenny Baskins (Sheri); 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights, with funeral services being held Thursday, July 10, 1008, at 2 p.m. at Central Heights Baptist Church. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
