Amedeo Gallo, 89; Devoted husband of Umberta nee Mancini; Beloved father of Bina (Anthony Urgo) and Domenico Gallo; Dear Nonno of Marisa (Tyson) Riffell, Lisa (John Cooper), Catherine, Domenic, Thomas and Caroline; Cherished son of the late Bambina (nee Spina) and the late Domenico Gallo and son-in-law of the late Ersilia (DiVirgilio) and the late Angelo Mancini; Dear brother of Domenica (the late Antonio) DiCristofano and brother-in-law of Domenico (Lucia) Mancini, Pierino (Ysel) Mancini, Antonia (the late Domenico) Notardonato and the late Lucia Notardonato; Fond uncle of Vincenzo (Ernestina) and Domenico (Pina) DiCristofano, Anna (Ken) Hicks, Giuseppe (Adriana) and Marco (Natalie) Notardonato, Lia, Robert and Angelo (Emily) Mancini; Fond great-uncle cousin and friend to many. Amedeo was a master bricklayer and stone mason who owned A. Gallo Masonry. He was a proud member of the S. Liberata Club, Molisani Nel Mondo and the Mazzini Verde Club. He loved his family, gardening and bocce, having won multiple national tournaments. Visitation Friday Nov. 19th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral services begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home proceeding to St. Francis Borgia Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Entombment Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery.
