My deepest condolences to you,Gail, and all of Al's loved ones. I first met Al back in the late 70's after my move to Chicago, and since then he has come to represent one of the most honorable, caring and decent people I have known in the real estate business. I will miss him.

Gail,
Please accept my condolences and prayers for you and your family. I first met Al through Stan and Irene at UBS when he would come in to the office. He was a sweet person and I would get such a kick out of he and Irene's "dates." Al would always ask me if it was "okay" if he and Irene went out for lunch and then wouldn't come back for 2 hours =). Again, my prayers are with your family.

Dear Gail and Family
My deepest sympathies to all of you. I first met Al years ago when I was a fledgling lawyer and he was a veteran mortgage banker. He was then and always remained one of the most decent and honorable men with whom I have had the pleasure to work with in my careeer. In many ways he was a mentor to me-not just in the real estate business but in the way of conducting yourself in the business world. He will always, always have a special place in my heart.

I am very sorry to hear of Al's passing. I first met him while working for a real estate law firm that represented him and then periodically kept running into him in at the companies where I worked. He always made my day brighter (and a little funnier). You have my deepest sympathies.

My deepest sympathy to Gail and all of Al's loved ones. This is indeed bad news for an otherwise beautiful Monday morning. Al was one of the first people I met after moving to Chicago in 79. He was a fountain of information and is reported to have lived in almost every apartment building in Chicago. Something many of us at CIC teased him about. He was responsible for my working at CIC after several years of 'campaigning' for me to make this move. I enjoyed working in the office next to his for many years. Bless you Al.
