Alvin H. "Buzz" Senf Jr., U.S. Army Veteran, age 82 of Chicago, passed away June 30, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Tamkus); Loving dad of Kathy (Steven) Mandel, Thomas (Sheri) Senf, Susan (Edward) Carroll, Tracy Senf, Jeffrey (Carmen) Senf, and William (Kelly) Senf; Dedicated grandpa of Ashley (George), Douglas, Erika, Jessica (Destin), Claire, Abby, Taylor, Dennis, Edward, Sean, Alexandra, Lucas, Danielle, Samuel, and Valerie Rose; Dear brother of Beverly (Jerry), Linda (late Jim), and Lori (Mike); Dear brother-in-law to Arlene (late Frank); Fond uncle to many. Alvin was a proud member of Local 184, Painters Union and the Southwest Sportsman's Club. He was an avid softball player and coach to many and was a devoted fan of the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears! Visitation Monday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116, W. 111 th St., Chicago Ridge; Funeral Tuesday 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Christina Catholic Church, 3342 W. 111 th St., Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago. My condolences to Linda and Lori and the rest of Buzz´s family. I remember him always teasing me and calling me Herm or Herman. He was a nice neighbor on Trumbull Ave.
