Alison Penze Obituary

Penze, Alison Melissa Age 21, died suddenly, was planning to graduate with honors from the University of Arizona, with a degree in Public Health. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph (Joan) Penze and Kristen (nee Madigan) (Lawrence) Abbinante; loving sister of Kali Penze, Nicholas and Jacob Abbinante; cherished granddaughter of Frances (late Peter) Calcagno and Susan Iden; fond niece of James Madigan and Melissa Madigan (Jonathan Becker); dear cousin and friend of many Visitation Friday, April 29, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Funeral Saturday, April 30, starting with prayers at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, going in procession to St. Isaac Jogues Church, for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Maryhill Cemetery. Alison was a beloved member of the Beta Delta chapter of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She had planned on continuing her education to get a Master's Degree in nursing, with a special interest in labor, delivery and midwifery. She was a passionate advocate for animals, especially shelter dogs and cats.
