Alice Schacht Obituary

Sr. Alice Emile (Marilyn) Schacht, OSF (1931- 2008) died at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home on October 19, 2008. She was the beloved daughter of Emil and Alice (Farley) and the cherished sister of the deceased John, Edward and Alice Schacht, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jane (John) Schacht of Joliet. She was a treasured member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate (Joliet) for 48 years many of which were spent in nursing care at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home in Joliet. The wake will be at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, IL (Wyoming and Rt. 30) on Friday, October 24, 2008, from 2 to 6:45 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 4:45 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. The Funeral Procession will leave from Our Lady of Angels on Saturday morning, October 25, 2008, at 9 a.m. The Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, IL.
