Alice you are so missed. You have to be so proud of your girls. They are amazing ladies. Love and miss you.

She was the most wonderful person I have ever met. The service was a wonderful celebration of her life among a multitude of friends she made during her lifetime. God bless you all!

If you had the pleasure of knowing Alice, you were blessed! She was a precious person, always smiling and positive. She gave us kids a place to go after school and on weekends. We knew if we cleaned up our mess, we were free to get comfortable and enjoy our visit. She was dependable and kind. One of the ways she showed her love for her girls was by loving their friends and taking care of us. She opened up her home, gave rides to school and church she allowed us to eat when we were hungry,(we ate a LOT), she even gave us work to do when we seemed bored. She was special to me and I am honored to have had her along side me for much of my life. I'll always have fond memories and never forget the kind of person, the example she was to us all. I will see Alice again one day. I know this because she believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior and she is now at peace in His presence.

You will be deeply missed, by everyone you have come in touch with during your life. Thanks for always being you. No matter how long it was since I saw you last- we spoke just like it was yesterday. "Aunt" Scooter - You and my mom have a lot of catching up to do in heaven! That will be an endless girls lunch! Love and Hugs - Laurie

I had the great pleasure of working with your Mom for 7 years at GW and we always had so much fun. She was always smiling and a joy to be around. She will be missed. May God be with you Gina & Kelly.

Alice was such a kind person and I never heard her talk ill about anyone.
I'll always remember the great times we all had at our block parties. During one of the storms several years ago when we were without power and all of the neighbors came together in Gina and Garry's driveway each night for several weeks. We had such a great time with Alice.

I witnessed first hand the amazing courage Alice showed everyone on her final journey home to be with the Lord.

My mother recently passed away and the first thing Alice wanted to know when she saw me was how my family and I were doing completely forgetting her own condition.

The neighborhood will not be the same without you.

I will remember you always.

Dearest Gina and Kelley, Scooter was a wonderful friend to me going back many years, though we've lost touch she has always had a special place in my life as you girls have. Scooter never was a negative person, always kind and smiling and beautiful. She was a special friend to my mother who loved your family too. My heartfelt condolences to your families.

Kelly, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Just remember that your wonderful memories will keep you going and that she is now in heaven watching over you and your family. Our prayers are with you in this time of very real grief.

Mimi adopted all of her neighbors as her family. We were blessed to have her in our lives...she will be missed but always in our hearts.

Scooter was a very special person, she will be greatly missed. We have know Scooter for a very long time. All our thoughts and prayers are with her children, grandchildren, brother Donald & wife Carol. We enjoyed having dinner with her and Rodney, the last time we were in town, she gave us much needed love and support during a difficult time in our lives. She surly will be missed.

Scooter came into my life twice and the duration was too short both times. She was special to me and I will miss her. We don't find such a caring, loving person in a lifetime and I was lucky to have found her twice. She will be a beautiful angel in heaven because she was a beautiful angel here on earth. Rest in peace my Scooter.

Scooter's Family and Friends,
The treasure of knowing and being Scooter's neighbor (1961) in Delray will always be a blessed memory. Her diligence and big smile were an example to all.

My heart aches for you girls. I wish I could be there to hug you both. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there however I am with you in spirit. Thank you Gina for giving Aunt Scooter a hug & kiss for me I appreciate that. I can only hope that my mother is waiting with open arms and a big hug for her when she arrives.
