ALFRED MUELLER Obituary

Mueller Jr., Alfred Otto 88, was called home to the Lord on September 11, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Union Grove. He was born in Chicago on February 15, 1927; a graduate of Kelvyn Park High and University of Illinois U-C. After returning from his WWII service, he met the love of his life, Grace Stagg and married on September 11, 1949. They resided in Chicago where he worked as a claims adjuster for Kemper Insurance. They owned a cottage in Paddock Lake since 1958 and moved there in 1977 where Alfred served as Municipal Judge until retiring and moving to St. Petersburg, FL. He enjoyed horseshoes (Florida state champion) boating, bowling and was an active member of VFW Post 4364. He and Grace traveled to all 50 states; the lower 48 in their RV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Sr. and Helen (Hebel); brother, Richard; wife, Grace; daughter, Marilynn and two grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Gail, Alfred III (Kathy Carlsen) and Ronald; five grandchildren, Will (Renee) Tobin, Dave (Katie) Tobin, Alfred Mueller IV, Joshua Mueller and Selena Mueller; and five great-grandchildren (with one on the way). A visitation will be held on September 18, from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon memorial service at the Miller-Reesman Funeral Home, Hwy 11, Union Grove, WI. The family thanks the staff at the Gates Hall Veterans Home in Union Grove and the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association for their loving care.
