Alezander Riofredo Obituary

Riofredo, Alezander F. 79, of Rockford, he passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006, in the home of his daughter Bert, after a long illness. He was born August 16, 1927, in Chicago, son of Joseph Sr. and Mary (Schiro) Riofredo. He lived in Rockford for 14 years coming here from Chicago. He was an auto mechanic and worked for Pontiac for many years. Veteran of WWII serving in the Army. Survivors include Mary K. (Steven) Field of Caledonia, Bert (Scott) Cromwell of Rockford, Joseph (Elizabeth) Riofredo Centennial, CO, Julie (Mark) Woods and Phillip Riofredo. 14 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren, sister Marie (William) Getner Loves Park. Predeceased Parents and Brother Joseph Jr. Mass at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2006, in St Peter Cathedral with Father Ken officiating. Burial in St Joseph Cemetery in River Grove. Visitation from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home. With Rosary at 6 p.m. Special thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice and also to Al's Neighbors for their care and support.
