I'm sorry to hear of Al's passing. I was one of the first females on patrol in the 12th District and Al and his partner Dominick treated us professionally and kindly. I'm glad that his son followed in his footsteps and became a police officer.

Al, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. In 1975 he helped break in a new CPD tactical police officer, who will be forever grateful for his expert knowledge and council which stayed with me for the rest of my years on the department. A Marine and a fine man. I am blessed that I was his friend. John Olson Retired CPD

Joan and family, I am so sorry to read of Al's passing. He was such a great guy.
I have so many great memories of Al and always enjoyed working with him when I was in 12 Tac.
We always were going to get together, but the old story, we never did and I will always regret that.
I know how much you and the family meant to Al and how proud he was that his son became a Police Officer in Naperville and not Chicago. No Residency problems.
Arlos and I will keep him and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
