I remember meeting you freshmen year at Schurz. We shared Study, Gym, Algebra .. etc. We shared a common interest in Djing, spinning records. I remember visiting you at your home a couple of times to play records. We were good buddies for Freshman and Sophomore year, but life happened and we drifted apart. Probably girlfriends, lol. Outside of HS, we ran into each other at the lake front around 1995, I was on break from my limo job and you were riding through on you bike if I remember correctly. We talked for a bit, catching up. You actually showed me something that I didn't know regarding my Lincoln Town Car that I was driving. The next time was in the early 2000's, you were climbing a Com-Ed electric pole. I was driving by and noticed you, I slowed down and waved, you smiled. I hope you noticed me. That was the last time my friend.

Although, I recently heard of your passing, I always think of you on your birthday. Rest in Peace. Happy Birthday.

Always remembered!

I still have a mix tape that you put together back in the day.
But I've might have recorded over some of it,damn! lol.

I just joined Comed to become an Overhead lineman and today was our last day for our Overhead Helper school... our teacher walked us to the back to show us what Underground Electricians do and as we were walking to the back of the training site as a class, we payed homage to Alejandro Collazo who´s name is posted in the hallway as a memorial for all those lost at Comed. My prayers go out to his family as that had to be a very tough time for them. However, I hope it´s comforting knowing that the instructors never forgot who he was, what kind of man he was, and will never let his story fade away.

Poem:
God looked around His graden
And he found an empty place,
He then looked down upon this earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And He lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
The hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you.
The day God Called you home.

And we are not alone,
For you are always in our hearts.

Dear Pat and Family,
Pat you were and still are an inspiration to me. I always looked up to you while we spent our time together in the hospital. We are truly sorry for your loss. Please know that our prayers are with you and your family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
