To the family of Al Walter,
Al was a good friend of mine. I first met him in the 1970's, and had the pleasure of playing with him in the German Brass bands. I always called Al when My band was booked for Oktoberfest, and he was able to get some of the playing gigs. I consider him one of the top Clarinet players I have ever known, and a great person. I could not make it to the wake because I had a playing engagement with my band.
God bless your family
