Dear Russell & Carole, I recieved a few days ago a copy of the obit. from Mrs. Marge Warner, a very good friend of my late Mother Phyllis Bucar. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. As you know, my Mother & Al were very close for many years - 15+ I think. My Mother had wonderful memories of her time spent w/Al and they had great times vacationing and spending time w/you two and your children. I remember my Mother speaking often very highly of you two, Max & Alexander and their antics. You made her feel very welcome and part of your lives as your Father did and I will always be deeply indebted to you for that. My Brother Albert is doing well in Fox Lake, still working in the Security field. My wife (Angela)and I have 2 children, age 3 & 1/2, & 8 months. I still struggle w/the fact that my Mother died just before Mothers Day in 2002 and just weeks before my daughter Holliday Elizabeth (named after my Mother's Mother)was born 7/14/02. Being w/her those final days were the most difficult days of my life. However, as you know, you must move on, live life. As I read shortly after her death, "you never get over it...you just somehow get through it." Our son, John "Jack" Franklin was born 6/7/05, the day after my Mothers Birthday....I believe she would have been 74....75 this June, 6, 2006. Anyway, I wanted to write and share some thoughts. I would love to hear from you and "talk" further. Sincerely, Jim Bucar

I worked with Al at Dresser & later Komatsu Dresser. Al was always a gentleman & class act. I know you, his family will miss him. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Tony Poss
