Schneider, Alan age 60, of Chicago, beloved husband of Denise (nee Ginestro), loving son of Anita and the late Bernard, adoring brother of Marlene (David) Green, Don (Jan) Schneider and Rhoda (Steven) Brownstein, cherished uncle of Steve Green, Jamie Brownstein, Jessica and Samantha Schneider, fond brother-in-law of Nancy Reum, Lynn Jane and Kim Brewer and a friend to many. Graveside services Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Institute of Mental Health Gift Fund, 6001 Executive Blvd., Rm 8104, MSC9655, Bethesda, MD, 20892-9655 or Keshet, 3210 Dundee Rd., Northbrook, IL, 60062. We last saw each other the summer before last and embraced with a big smile and hug. We spoke of the Chabad. This is the way I will always remember him! May his Neshuma be at peace. My thoughts and condolences to the entire Schneider family.
